Rishikesh, 06 July 2025 – On the auspicious occasion of His Holiness the Dalai Lama\u2019s 90th birthday, a special Ganga Aarti was organized at Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh. The ceremony was dedicated to prayers for his long life, good health, and continued divine service to humanity. Devotees, saints, and visitors joined in heartfelt prayers filled with love, gratitude, and reverence.<\/p>\n

The Ganga ghats lit up with the glow of lamps, sacred chants, and the spirit of compassion and peace\u2014values that His Holiness has championed throughout his life. A large community feast (bhandara) was also organized in his honor, serving hundreds of saints, devotees, and tourists, reinforcing the message of service and compassion.
\nSwami Chidanand Saraswati said the Dalai Lama’s life is a celebration of compassion, harmony, and humility, and his teachings are a blessing to humanity.
